We met in Shanghai and married in Hong Kong. Since then we’ve lived in Vienna, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dublin, Salzburg, and Zurich, trying to save the world, and failing.
In 2018 we moved to Taipei and quickly fell in love with Taiwan. We began writing Taiwan Tales because we want everyone to understand why Taiwan is such a lovely place to be.
Four years later we moved to Edinburgh in Scotland for work.
In 2026, we returned to Taiwan. We moved back mostly because we like living here so much. Taiwan is a remarkable place full of remarkable people.
